Local Flowers from Tea Lane Farm

It is often said that Fall is the best time of year on Martha's Vineyard. While this is up for debate, we can't argue that it is the best time of year for the last of the glorious local flower harvest!

In preparation for a photo shoot up-island this past October, we took to Tea Lane Farm.  Three buckets packed of hand-picked Dahlias later, we had more than enough local color to fill our photos.

Check out their beautiful website, and know you can find them during summer months at the West Tisbury Farmer's Market. Thanks to Krishana for helping us out for the photo-shoot!

Color your Kitchen

Liz's advice? "A quick and cost effective way to transform any space is to try a new coat of beautiful white paint."

Are you  looking for more paint color advice? Revisit this article on New England Home's Blog, where she talks about taking "cues from the view" - transforming indoor spaces by creating a synergy with the natural surroundings of the home, painting included!
